Service Plans
Define reusable plans with a price, billing frequency, term length, included visits, member discount, and benefits.
At a Glance
- A service plan is a reusable template: price, billing frequency, term length, included visits, member discount, and benefits
- Create plans under Service Agreements > Service Plans before you sell one
- Editing a plan never changes agreements you have already sold
A service plan is the reusable definition behind every service agreement you sell: what it costs, how often it bills, how long a term lasts, how many visits are included, and what discount members get.
To access: open the Menu, then Service Agreements under Money, then Service Plans. On your phone, tap More, then Service Agreements.
Why Plans Come First
You sell an agreement from a plan. Define the plan once, then enroll as many customers as you like. When you sell it, the plan's terms are copied onto that customer's agreement, so editing the plan later never re-prices anyone who already signed up.
If you open Sell Agreement before you have any plans, WorkSnap asks you to Define a service plan first.
Creating a Plan
- Go to Service Agreements > Service Plans
- Tap New Plan
- Fill in the fields below
- Tap Create plan
| Field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Plan name | What the customer sees, such as "HVAC Tune-Up Plan" |
| Description | One sentence on what the customer gets |
| Price | The membership price per billing period |
| Billed | Weekly, Bi-weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, or Yearly |
| Term (months) | How long one term runs. 12 is typical |
| Visits per term | Included service visits per term. Use 0 for discount-only plans |
| Member discount (%) | Percentage off future estimates and invoices for members |
| Benefits (one per line) | Perks listed on the agreement and in the Customer Portal, such as "Priority scheduling" |
Example: "HVAC Tune-Up Plan", $19.00, billed Monthly, 12-month term, 2 visits per term, 10% member discount, benefits "Priority scheduling" and "No overtime charges".
About the Member Discount
The member discount is applied automatically to new estimates and invoices for customers with an active agreement on this plan. It is never applied to the plan's own membership invoice. See Discounts and Member Pricing for how the discount line works.
Editing and Archiving Plans
Tap Edit on a plan to change any field. Changes apply to agreements you sell from now on; existing agreements keep the terms they were sold with.
To stop offering a plan, tap Archive, or edit the plan and turn off Available to sell. Archived plans stay attached to the agreements that use them and show an Archived badge in the list.
Read-Only on the Free Plan
On the Free plan you can see your service plans but not create or edit them. The page shows "Service plans are read-only on your current plan" with the name of the plan to upgrade to. Compare plans on the pricing page.
What Happens Next
- 1Sell the plan to a customer from their page or the agreements list
- 2Activate the agreement to start billing and visit tracking
- 3Member pricing applies automatically to that customer's new estimates and invoices
